Brickell, in the heart of Miami’s financial district, is known for its modern skyscrapers, upscale dining, and vibrant nightlife. There’s plenty to see and do in the neighbourhood, and it also makes a great base for exploring Downtown and nearby Coconut Grove. There’s also a huge choice of top-quality hotels so you won’t be short on accommodation options.
I stayed in Brickell when visiting Miami in April 2023. As usual, I did loads of research beforehand to find out which hotels had the best reviews (and over 100 ratings to be sure it wasn’t a one-hit wonder) and top facilities (within my budget requirements).

When it comes to luxury hotels in Brickell, you can’t beat the Four Seasons. With its sleek design and panoramic views, the hotel boasts an infinity pool, a spa, and two restaurants.
The exceptional service, spacious rooms, and a prime location near the Brickell City Centre are what set this hotel apart. The poolside cabanas and skyline views add to the luxury experience. It’s no wonder that guests consistently rate it an impressive 9/10! Rooms start at $487 per night.
Mandarin Oriental Miami
The luxurious Mandarin Oriental Miami hotel offers stunning waterfront views, a private beach, a world-class spa, and top-notch dining options. It’s known for its impeccable service, tranquil ambience, and holistic wellness offerings. Guests can enjoy yoga classes, personalised spa treatments, and a serene atmosphere right in the heart of the city. With an average guest rating of 8.8/10, this is the second best hotel in Brickell. Prices start at $393 per night.
citizenM Miami Brickell
The citizenM chain is known for its boutique vibes and its Miami Brickell hotel is no exception. Located in the centre of the neighbourhood, it’s a convenient base for exploring downtown, the Wynwood street art murals, and Miami Beach. Amazingly, the citizenM is also one of the most affordable hotels in Brickell with rooms from just $133 per night.
Its modern design, rooftop pool and trendy atmosphere make it a great place to stay. The only downside is that the pool doesn’t get the sun all day, but for most people that won’t be a dealbreaker.

Hampton Inn Brickell
I stayed at the Hampton Inn Brickell while attending a conference, so got to experience the facilities and service first-hand. It had large, clean rooms, excellent security, and convenient public transport links (just steps from the Metromover). With an average rating of 8.6/10, it’s an excellent option in the centre of Brickell. Rooms start at $156 per night.
Tru by Hilton Brickell
I also stayed at the Tru by Hilton while visiting Miami and was super-impressed with every aspect. It offered boutique vibes for a budget price, with a great rooftop pool and gym. The only downside is that it’s slightly out of the way compared with the rest of Brickell (but if price is your top priority then it might be worth it for the saving). With an average review score of 8.6/10, it matches the more expensive Hampton Inn in terms of guest satisfaction. Prices start at $114 per night.
EAST Miami
EAST Miami is a stylish 5* hotel located in Brickell Plaza. With a rooftop pool and bar, modern rooms, and several dining options, it’s got everything you need for a break in the city. The hotel’s contemporary design, rooftop views, and proximity to shopping, dining, and Brickell’s trendy nightlife are what make it a stand-out option. Rooms start at $273 per night.
SLS Lux Brickell
The upscale SLS Lux Brickell hotel (not to be confused with the plain SLS Brickell) is another solid option with a rooftop pool, fitness centre, and steam room. It’s renowned for its chic and artistic ambience, lively atmosphere, and creative cuisine. The hotel’s location and proximity to nearby attractions are what make it a solid option, and it’s on par with the EAST in terms of guest scores. Prices start at $321 per night.
Hyatt Centric Brickell Miami
The Hyatt Centric is situated in the Brickell Financial District and features a rooftop pool, fitness centre, and a stylish restaurant. It’s known for its contemporary design and convenient location near Brickell’s main attractions. But what we love is that most of the Hyatt’s rooms (even the cheapest ones) have balconies which is a rarity in most downtown Miami hotels. Rooms start at $226 per night.
Kimpton EPIC Hotel
Located in the heart of Brickell, the Kimpton EPIC is known for its modern design, exceptional service, and stunning bay views. Like most of the hotels on this list, it features a rooftop pool, spa, and multiple dining options. But what makes it really special is that it has its very own marina! So if you’re arriving in Miami on your super-yacht (who isn’t these days?), then this is super-convenient. Prices start at $257 per night.
Hotel AKA (Formerly Conrad Miami)
The Hotel AKA, formerly known as the Conrad Miami, boasts a rooftop pool, tennis courts, a spa, and spacious rooms with bay and city views.
